Take a break from the bar-scene and meet other singles for a day of fun, and challenge! Choose from adventure instruction activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, wilderness skills, hiking, or canoeing, or take the teamwork to a new level with an Adventure Sprint, Soapbox Derby Race or ROPES Challenge.  We’ll do our adventure activity in the daytime and go out to a pub or restaurant in the evening – What happens after that is up to you…

Adventure WeekendNothing brings people together like sharing an outdoor experience. Corporate teams, school groups, scouts and families can now enroll in our Adventure Weekend programs, designed to give participants two days of challenge in an outdoor setting.

Here is an example of one of our Special Events for groups and online communities:

GO-Wilderness Skills Learn valuable wilderness survival skills such as finding/collecting water, fire-building, and shelter-building as you hike the back country of Catoctin Mountain Park.  This two-day course is designed for novice hikers, but can be fairly strenuous at times.

Location:  Catoctin Mountain Park.
Duration:  Saturday/Sunday two day, one night trip to Catoctin Mountain Park.  The area is somewhat isolated and only a 1-1/2 hour drive from Washington, DC.

Difficulty:  Moderate

Objectives:  Instruction in basic wilderness survival and technical skills, followed by overnight survival camping.

Technical Skills covered:

  • assembling your backpack and gear
  • finding a good campsite
  • building and maintaining a fire for survival
  • building and maintaining a shelter
  • map and compass skills for land navigation
  • finding water


Multi-Sport Corporate Adventures – a two to five-day team building and instructional event for teams of up to 14 participants. The program provides your group with a variety of adventure activities through which they can grow and learn – each day is packed with adventure sports opportunities and each challenge requires significant commitment from the members of the group. Our team of expert guides will give you the skills you need to accomplish each mission.

GO-Via RockReady to take your climbing to the next level? The Via Rock program is an opportunity to transition from single-pitch top-roping to the “exposure” of multi-pitch climbing.

Multi-Sport Adventures with GO-Adventures.Day 1 – Via Ferrata – You will climb iron rungs in a rock face, while transferring from belay cable to belay cable and attaining over 800 feet of elevation. All of this will be done under the supervision of an expert guide, and will be taken at your own pace. We’ll unwind around a campfire later that evening…

Day 2 – Multi-pitch Trad Clinic – In the morning you will wake up early and take part in an intensive traditional lead climbing techniques clinic, working on gear placement, anchor-building and belay techniques. Later that afternoon, you will break up into teams of 3 to climb an easy multi-pitch route on Seneca Rocks. This is one adventure you won’t soon forget!
